Selling on Comercia is free for everyone, in the local and international markets. The badge is optional.
The company sent its documents, we reviewed and approved them, and it pays the monthly fee.
The store doesn't have a badge yet. It can still sell.
What it means
Identity and business confirmed: we review the identity and legal existence documents of the company and its legal representative.
The badge confirms identity and the legal existence of the business; it is not a guarantee of products, deliveries or payments.
What it does NOT mean
- We do not check the quality, origin or condition of the products.
- We are not responsible for deliveries, shipments or payments between buyer and seller.
- It is not the platform's opinion of the business: that is what other buyers' ratings are for.
How to get it during the beta
- Upload your business documents in My account · Badge. The team reviews them.
- Pay the monthly fee with the demo payment: no real money is charged. Your badge is activated when the team approves the documents.
- Founders with approved documents can be given the courtesy badge by the team, for a set period or with no end date.
What is paid with the demo is refunded automatically on the day real payments are turned on; the courtesy badge stays.
Price
- Local market: COP 39,900 per month.
- International trade: USD 19 per month, charged in Colombian pesos at the official TRM: 19 × TRM, rounded to the nearest hundred (today COP 59,800, with TRM 3,148.02 effective since 2026-10-28; source: Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (datos.gov.co, conjunto 32sa-8pi3)). The amount is updated on the 1st of each month.
Automatic monthly charge with Mercado Pago. You can cancel whenever you want from My account; the badge remains until the end of the paid period. If a charge fails, you have 5 days to pay; after that, the badge becomes empty again. Details in the subscription terms.
Documents we request
Company in Colombia: RUT, Certificate of existence and legal representation (Chamber of Commerce), less than 90 days old, Legal representative's ID card (cédula).
Individual in Colombia: RUT, ID card (cédula).
Foreign company: Commercial registration or business license from their country, Representative's passport.
PDF, JPG or PNG, 10 MB max. They're stored privately (never with a public link): only the administrator sees them. They're deleted 90 days after approval or rejection; only a record of what was reviewed and when is kept. Documents are valid for 12 months. Data processing under the data policy (Law 1581 of 2012).
Trust score (0 to 100)
Each store shows “Trust N/100”. It is calculated like this:

It's recalculated whenever something relevant happens (badge, payment, rating, closed deal, changes to the store or its listings) and once a day.
How to get your badge
Go to My account → Badge, choose the plan based on your main market (you can have both), upload the documents and pay. Once we have the documents and the payment, we review them and let you know.
